bassoon choir
The MAYWE Bassoon Choir was formed in August 2008 to provide a unique performance and study opportunity for talented bassoonists. Under the direction of Georgia State University bassoon professor Ms. Michele Bowen, the ensemble rehearses every other week. In addition to performing selections at each MAYWE concert, the Bassoon Choir members participate in masterclasses and lectures on topics ranging from reed making to audition preparation.
